April 23, 2025 — Shanghai, China — Lexus has officially unveiled the all-new ES luxury sedan at the 2025 Shanghai Motor Show, introducing a refined blend of technology, comfort, and sophisticated design that reaffirms its position in the premium executive car segment. This latest generation of the ES continues the brand’s legacy of understated luxury while embracing future-forward enhancements.

Design Meets Innovation
The redesigned Lexus ES features an evolution of the brand’s signature spindle grille, now flanked by sharper LED headlamps and a more aerodynamic silhouette. Inside, the cabin emphasizes driver-centric ergonomics and comfort, boasting premium leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and a revamped infotainment system with seamless voice control integration.

Advanced Technology at the Core
Technological advancements are at the heart of the 2025 ES. The sedan incorporates Lexus’ latest Safety System+ 3.0 suite, featuring upgraded driver-assistance capabilities like adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist, and enhanced pedestrian detection. A new AI-powered user interface also learns driver preferences over time for a more intuitive experience.
The vehicle will be available in both traditional internal combustion variants and a new plug-in hybrid option, catering to Lexus’ ongoing commitment to electrification.

Phased Global Rollout
Lexus confirmed that the new ES will begin its phased release starting mid-2026, beginning with markets in Asia and Europe before expanding to North America and the Middle East. The automaker plans to localize production for several markets to optimize delivery times and reduce environmental impact.
