Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has once again made headlines—not for his on-screen performances, but for his literary impact. His book I’m No Messiah, co-authored with Meena Iyer, has now reached more than 7,000 schools across India, thanks to the efforts of Gyan-Key, a nationwide rural library initiative led by Pradeep Lokhande.
The book, which shares stories from Sood’s real-life humanitarian efforts during the COVID-19 crisis, has resonated with 1,390 young readers across 7 states and inspired over 2,380 handwritten postcards as part of the reading movement.
