Craving something crispy and satisfying, but trying to eat healthy? Whether you’re avoiding fried foods for health reasons or simply want to make better snack choices, these crispy oil-free veggie patties are your new go-to recipe.
They’re crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside—and 100% made without deep frying. Perfect for weight management, heart health, or families looking to sneak more veggies into their diet without sacrificing flavor.
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mash and mix well until the mixture binds together. If it's too wet, add more flour. If it's too dry, add a few drops of lemon juice or water.
Divide the mixture and shape it into round, flat patties using your hands or a mold. Keep them uniform in size so they cook evenly.
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
If using an air fryer, set it to 180°C (356°F) and cook for 10–15 minutes. Flip halfway and air fry until golden and firm. No oil required!
Serve these patties with mint yogurt dip, hummus, or stuff them into whole wheat buns with lettuce and tomato for a wholesome burger. They’re also great as part of a grain bowl or lunchbox meal.
You can switch up the ingredients based on what’s in your fridge—use beetroot, spinach, broccoli, or paneer for variations!
Bookmark this recipe and share it with anyone who loves crispy food but cares about their health. It’s proof that delicious and nutritious can go hand-in-hand.
