The United States has once again raised concerns about India’s high import tariffs, particularly a 150% duty on American alcohol and a 100% tariff on US agricultural products. The White House has criticized these measures, stating that they create unfair trade barriers and hinder American exports.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently highlighted India’s high tariffs, arguing that they negatively impact American businesses, especially distilleries producing Kentucky bourbon and Tennessee whiskey.
