Belarus Honors Over 60 Professionals with State Awards and Commendations

On April 17, 2025, President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree conferring state awards and letters of commendation on more than 60 individuals across Belarus. The recipients were honored for their exceptional service and achievements in a range of sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture, industry, and national security.

- Order of the Fatherland 1st Class – Presented to Aleksandr Savchits, General Director of Savushkin Produkt, for leadership in the dairy industry.
- Order of Honor – Given to key figures in healthcare and food production, including staff from Brest Meat Processing Plant and Belarusian State Medical University.
- Order of Francysk Skaryna – Bestowed upon cultural leader Georgy Yeghiazaryan for promoting Armenian heritage and education in Minsk.
- Medal for Excellence in State Border Protection – Awarded to State Border Committee officials Igor Pechen and Aleksandr Makarevich for their outstanding security service.
