With the 2025 NFL Draft just days away, the New York Giants find themselves at a pivotal crossroads. Following a lackluster 2024 season and mounting concerns over the future of their offense, all eyes are on their quarterback strategy — and the speculation is getting louder by the hour.
According to multiple insiders, including team-focused analysts at Big Blue View, the Giants have shown strong interest in Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Ole Miss standout Jaxson Dart. Sanders, known for his poise and football IQ, is a highly marketable and athletic option. Dart, on the other hand, has been climbing draft boards thanks to his performance at the NFL Combine.
With the team currently holding a mid-round pick, there's growing chatter about the Giants potentially trading up to secure one of these rising stars.
Despite extending Daniel Jones through the 2026 season, the front office and coaching staff have not publicly committed to him long-term. Jones struggled with consistency in 2024, and his injury history remains a concern. The draft presents an opportunity to reset — or at the very least, to bring in serious competition at the quarterback position.

"They’re doing their homework on every top-tier quarterback," one AFC scout told ESPN. "If you see them trade up, don’t be surprised. They know they need a spark — and soon."
